I placed an online order with treasurekingdom.com mid for a Disney storybook/scrapbook ($35 total), seeing that it was one of the few online retailers with the book (supposedly) still in stock. I read the purchase and shipping policy and it stated that items might take up to 2-3 weeks to ship as they often had to pick the items up directly from Disneyland and/or DisneyWorld and I was fine with that.

At the end of the 3rd week from my purchase date, I sent an email reply to Customer Service and an email alias named CAL that was cc: d on the initial order receipt I received.in my email, I asked for when I might expect my purchase to ship and if they could notify me when it had shipped. I received no reply within 48 hours of when the email was sent. I decided to send another email and waited an additional 48 hours (4 business days since the first email). I never did receive a reply from anyone at Treasure Kingdom.

After not hearing from anyone 40 days after my purchase was made, I filed a complaint with my Credit Card company to get my money back. I had to file 2 sets of claims just to get a measly $35 back. What an utterly lame experience!

I notice that Treasure Kingdom is running two retail websites now with basically the same name and same merchandise. I think they are trying to distance themselves from their terrible business practices but I hope people can read this report, connect the two and decide to avoid them alltogether!
