Online Order Was Nothing But Trouble

I thought this year I would save myself the trouble of shopping for my grandkids Christmas gifts and then packing them into a suitcase to take with me up to Alaska and just order everything online and have it shipped up there. So, when I received a email from Target Online saying that I could get free shipping I though great.

Six weeks before Christmas on 11/11 I place my order. Then all the trouble starts. First comes an email on 11/13 that says one of my eight items has shipped but two of my items will ship the next day and the other five will ship on 12/26. This is not going to work, so give their 800# a call. I was told that this was not true and that all my items where going to ship the next day on 11/14.

When by the afternoon of the 15th I had not received a email saying the items had shipped, I sent them a email asking why they had not shipped my items. I received back an email say that two of my items where not available for up to 6 weeks and that my order was being held up because of this.

At this point I call them up and was told that if removed the two item that where holding things up my order would ship out in a day or two. The two people (one was a team lead) I talked to on this day said one of the two items holding up deliver was different from the items listed in the email. At this point I cancel the two items the lead said was holding up the order since she said the would not have those items in stock until late Dec. She also said for my trouble she would up grade my shipping to two day service and wavy any shipping cost. (by the way I was charged at first for this and had to call them to get the extra shipping taken off and the item where not shipped with 2 day service it took the a week to get there when I call on this I was told they didn't know why the where not shipped with 2 day service).

Then on 11/18 I receive a new email saying one of the remaining items on my order is not available, you guessed it the item list on the previous email that they told! Me four times during my call to them was available.

I call them again and speak with a lead named Heather, who told me that one of the items I had already canceled before had been available. So I cancel the other item, she tells me for my trouble that I can pick any $20 item out and they will shipping that to me for my trouble. I pick a DVD for one of the kids. She told me to make that work she would charge my credit card for the DVD and credit back the $20 to the original order.

I get a email from them next saying that they can not proceed with my order because the card will not go through. I call them and give them another card they say there is a problem, but they will work on it a fix it. Next I get an Email from them saying the order for the DVD was canceled because they could not get the charge to go through. But original still shows it should be credited for the $20. I have call them twice in the last week and emailed them also, and still here I am 17 day later with out the $20 credit for my trouble.
