In Oct. I purchased a Sears 5 h.P. 22" Snowthrower (produced by MTD) and discovered one flat-tire in 2006. Sears changed the tire under warranty. Subsequently last year, both wheels removed flat. No guarantee but to purchase two new wheel devices (tire n/edge) at $43 each. The Sears representative explained that they market a number of them regular and that is why they've (13) of these in-stock. The brand new wheels are of colored metal rather than the original plastic. Sears understood the plastic wheels are difficult but decided to not create a recall before guarantee ends. It's an extremely misleading business training to get a big-box shop like Sears to cover product flaws data from its client.
Please allow everybody knows to not purchase any snow throwers that use plastic wheels. They do not stick to their plastic wheels. Once they deflated, you CAn't repair them.
