I was scammed because I signed up for something that was advertized as a Google work at home to make $25 per hour. I thought a friend had sent it to me - turns out it popped up on my computer. I paid the $1.95 and forgot about it - till I checked my bank account. Then I read the "welcome" letter and saw the disclosure that they were going to charge me a one time $129.95 fee plus $39.95 per month unless I cancelled it. They also signed me up for a bonus of another so called service for $25.00 a month which they are also supposed to be debiting from my account. The disclosure was way down on the bottom of the email and you had to click on it to see what you were being scammed for. I called my bank but they said I have to call the company first. It does say on the disclosures that you can have a refund within 30 days - I hope they do that. And I had to get a new debit card ordered. Urgh! I will never give anyone my debit card number again!
