I called Sears in Glen Burnie Maryland this morning to get a tire changed that I had gotten a flat in. After talking with them on the phone my husband was told they had 2 of my tires in stock and to come right over they would be ready. So myself and my 2 year old daughter get over there and get the car turned in with no issues. We go wander around and after 2 hours decide to go check on the progress. After sitting in the waiting room another 15 minutes they call me back to where my car is and inform me that they do not have my tire, not only do they not have the tire they told me they had but they do not have any tires that will fit my car. I asked the woman why they had not checked this 2 hours ago and she said they do not check until the time that they actually change the tire. I told her that she had informed me over the phone that there were 2 tires in stock and she would have one ready for us when we got there. She told me that she never said that, which is a lie. She then told me there was nothing they could do, but they could get me a tire in a week or so. I waited over 2 hours to be told they did not have a tire that they had told me over the phone they did have. Luckily on my way home I came across a Mr. Tire, who was very nice and helpful and got me a tire. I will never go back to Sears for anything. They obviously do not want to try hard enough to keep business. What a horrible waste of my day.
