Randy Moore mgr - Scott Stevens telephone sales Major ripoff and deceitful! Claiming thsy have buyers for your timeshare and you only need contribute small about for paper work wihich will be returned to you at closcing

Scott Stevens contacted us informing us that he had a buyer for our timeshare willing to pay $10,000. Since we had been trying to sell it this came as a welcome phone call. Scott said the caller was laughing at the fact that they thought we would be foolish enough to take the offer even though they had told him they would go higher. So we told Scott to go for $17,000 but not lower than $15,000. Scott returned the call to us in just a matter of minutes saying that they would do $16,000. We agreed that would be the price. Funny tho, even had we kept it at the $10,000 would we be out the same amount?

Scott proceeded to say we would have to put out an amount of $999.00 to help defray the costs but it would be returned to us at closing. We weren't able to come up with that amount but were able to do $699.00. According to Scott that would work but the extra would be deducted from the price at closing making it $15,700. That didn't quite add up - $16,000 $699= $16,699. This should have been a sign then that things weren't adding up but we wanted to get rid of the timeshare.

Scott took the bank card number and said the paper work would go out FedEx and we should receive it the next day. We did receive it the following day, we signed the contract and the what they call "merchant copy" but is actually a debit reciept which is what legally makes it ok for them to take the money out of our account. They had already done that 2 days earlier, so if at that point if we had not signed the contract or the debit card receipt I don't think the outcome would have been any different than it is this way. But we signed and called FedEx and it was picked up the next day.

There was a couple of times inbetween that we tried to contact Scott's phone and for some odd reason, which Scott blamed on Vonage, oh Scott you liar, you deceitful piece of (we"ll let you fill in the blank) but the answering machine came back with AMG... Ok we dialled wrong & try a 2nd time and a 3rd time and keep getting AMG. And to think we even spoke to him again after that.

It wasn't until next week that the name of another company came up, that we went onto the internet and did a search with Internet Explorer and found International Resort Solutions listed as a ripoff. So we called the main office phone number on the contract. The secretary Debbie answered and we blame her as much as the other SOBs. She knew what was goning on. But she said Randy wasn't in the office and would give him the message when he came in. We didn't expect to hear from him anymore that day, which we didn't.

The next day, November 25th, day before Thanksgiving, we called and spoke with Randy. When asked for a refund of the $699, Randy said he needs a reason. We said we don't need to give a reason simply that we want a refund. He then started yeling at me about how he is suppose to pay for the salespeople and all of his overhead if he has to give me a refund. He said it doesn't matter what the contract says, he determines what amount will be refunded, not anything from the contract. He wanted to know why we wouldn't give him the 90 days to do the sale, THEN -THEN they will return our money. After this we didn't trust him plain and simple! We were told that they were going to call the Resort.

I called the Resort and they told me that they never received a call. And now this guy says I should trust him with my money for 90 days? I was told the timeshare was already sold. So why then can't I have a copy of the offer to purchase? The information on the contract, after looking at it closer, was nothing more than the info we had guessed at over the phone because we didn't have the resort papers right in front, the info they never followed up on or felt the need to because the whole time its set up to be a ripoff. Randy then came off and said how the contract didn't mean anything, that the fact the part that states:

I also understand that, accournding to Florida State Stature 501.6015. I may, within thirty (30) days of receit of this contract, can cancel this agreement by contacting our customer sercvice department at (561) 904-6650 Or in writing. We will issue a full refund to your credit card."

Now Randy wants to lie and say thats not what it says. Whats in writing is in writing!!! Why not honor what you have written? Why must you be so dishonest to try to minipulate the law by printing a certain statute in and then want to hide behind it by saying verbally that the Statute itself only says 7 days and you in your good hearted soul added the other 23? Whatever!?!?! In my book this is deceit, lies and criminal! On the website there is a place under testiments: (OH WE LOVE THIS PART!!!)

And not a single one appears! Amazing! Absolutly Amazing!!! With this kind of customer service we can't understand why there aren't any comments. Oh we should make a note, there is 1 complaint on this site which Mr. Randy made it a point to clarify the complaintee was an exemployee of International Resort Solutions. Well hear me - we am not an ex-employee and I will not go away!!! All we want is our money back and we will go away sooner.
