We had a timeshare for sell with another co.in Fl. When Scott Micheals called stating he was with Nationwide and he had came across our listing and now he had it sold. I asked several times was it sold for sure and each time he said yes that the buyers had already put money on it. He then said he needed $1798 to get everything wrapped up and then in 25-35 dys. We would get our check for timeshare plus the $1798 and because he had been with the co. For so long he could get it pushed through faster. We were in a bind and desperate to get rid of this timeshare so i borrowed the money and called Scott with a c.C. Payment. He sent me the contract and I signed it and sent it back. During this time I had spoke with him 3-4 times that first week. After that first week when I called him he would be busy and would say he would call me back, which he never did and now his phone is cut off and nationwides phone mailboxes are full, so I have not been able to get in touch with anyone for about 3 wks. I have left several messages for the man that says he is the owner, Helmut, but he has not returned call either. Would certainly love to get our money back but I do not see that happening. Made several calls today to Palm Beach Fl. And found out they are being investigated, spoke with P.B. County Consumers Affairs Division, the State Dept. Of Consumer Services and the Attorney Generals office and i will keep calling until something is done to keep Nationwide and Scott Micheals from doing this to other people that put their faith and money in a co. And expect an honest service from them.
