We attended HMG's annual convention in Nashville, TN. Artists had opportunities to perform their songs on stage. Afterwards, we found out that we could purchase a DVD copy of the performance for $100.
We ordered a copy, but was told later that the film of our performance had "disappeared". They refunded our money, but without much of an explanation.
Apparently, they filmed straight through all of the performances, but ours was mysteriously missing. Their only explanation was that the camera came unplugged. Yeah, right. It came unplugged just before the performance started and was plugged back in as soon as it ended. If that really did happen, the cameraman would know it.
This was a copout because they deliberately sabotaged the performance due to our Puerto Rican nationality. Everyone else (who was caucasion) received their DVD except us. They treated the whole thing as a joke. I don't recommend anyone using their services.
