In June of this year, while in search for a merchant account, we came accross a very appealing website (npsglobal.com). We filled out their online application and received a phone call shortly there after from Mr. Mike Fisher. We spoke about the nature of our business and he assured us that he would definitely be able to open up an account for us.
A few days later we received an email containing discount rates and fees. The email also stated that the only thing missing to get the merchant account open was the processing fee of $995.00 which should be wired to National Payment Systems, Corp. The funds were wired the following day and receipt was also confirmed with Mr. Mike Fisher.
After a week of waiting for Mr. Fisher's response, we began to call and leave messages as well as followed up with emails yet we did not receive a response. This went on for several weeks so we decided to contact the Better Business Bureau and finally they were able to get Mr. Fisher to respond.
When he responded, he went on to say that the reason why the account was not opened was due to missing documentation. We sent him all the documents he requested the following day and he responded with an email that he had received everything and that the account would be opened "tentatively" by the third week of August.
It is now November and we still have not heard from Mr. Fisher nor anyone else from npsglobal.com (if there is even any other employees). We have sent him several emails and still get no response.
To anyone out there looking for a merchant account save yourselves $1000.00 and do NOT do business with these crooks.
National Payment Systems, Corp. (npsglobal.com) has a PO Box registered in Dublin, OH., but their physical address is nowhere to be found. I wonder why?
