I have been making payment on my adjustable rate CitiMortgage loan number XXXXXX for the last 22years. I never missed a payment. The loan payment was agreed to be drafted frommy checking account on 10th every month. This arrangement of makingmonthly payment by drafting my checking account on 10th was enteredinto with the previous loan servicer, 1st Nationwide Mortgage (FNMC), & continued after FNMC merged with CitiMortgage in 2003. A recent audit of my payments discovered that for the last 2years CitiMortgage has been charging me undisclosed $10 drafting fee everymonth. I did not agree to any fee for this EZ payment by drafting my account on10th.in response to my inquiry, I learnt from CitiMortgage customer servicethat a mass mailing was sent out to all CitiMortgage clients that effective August such service fee will be applied to all accounts that the paymentwas drafted after 9th. I didnot get any such notification & I was not aware of any such changeotherwise I would have agreed to debit my account a day earlier on 9thinstead of 10th. Any notification to the change in terms of monthlypayment should have required my acknowledgment. The CitiMortgage customer service refused to refund theunfairly charged fee. A letter written to the CitiMortgage has not beenacknowledged. A certified letter to the CitiMortgage President has beenreturned to the sender.
