Hello, I called comcast to get cable b/c my landlord wants a deposit of $150.00 to put a dish on my App. I spoke with an Amy who told me they were running a digital pack at $37.99 for 3 months. After the three months it would go up to $69.99 or i could change the pack before the three months to something diffrent.
She then tried to talk me into buying cable modem. I said no 3 times. I told her I didnt want to pay the $54.99 so she told me if I kept the cable she would give me a cust loyalty program at $19.99 mo for the duration of the time that I kept cable with them.
Problem #1. Day1 Man came out to install the cable. Took 6 hours for him to turn the cable on to a already existing line. Then he put the digital box on and it wouldint work. He told me to call and have them bring a new box out so I did.
Problem #2 day2 All the cable went out comcast closed on sun.
Problem #3 Day3 Man brang out new box turned cable back on.inst man leaves 2 hours latter box breakes.
Problem #4 Day4 I recieved my copy of what my service was it says $39.99 basic $4.00box $23.99 Int $3.00 modem $4.99 Repair $22.99 H/B/O $7.99 mis charge all of what was not on my pac agg.
Problem #5 Day5 Brang new box out broke 1 hour later. Called in about the $ diffrence. I was told that I was not telling the truth b/c that is not what there company does my int ser is only for3 months at a higher price that I aggred apon. She offers me 6mo at $19.99 wow that is what I to get in the first place. And to fix the other eras.
Problem #6 Day5 New box agian man couldnt get box to work 4 2 hours the man told him that he would hit the box with a signal. But not to stick around b/c the box will not except the signal and he was wasting to much time at my home. They would send a new tec out latter when they new what was the problem. I was not suposed to hear what went on but he was on a nexttell outside my window of my app. He left and the cable went out. I am discussted and I have only had service for 5 days or should I say I have only paid for it.
The cable modem does work FANTASTIC for my computer and the basic reg cable is ok but DIGITAL COMCAST SUCKS if you want to go digital GET A DISH its cheaper. I also had a phone message on my voice mailbox tonight from comcast saying that they could not give me the $19.99 int and the h/b/o that they promised and to call her at ext 4276 to be abble to work out a new arrangment. MESSAGE FOR COMCAST GO DISH
