On August 7, we got our Toyota Corolla to Midas Pikesville for an oil-change and requested them to appear into gas flow issues that we were having. They did the oil-change and documented they couldnt tell exactly what the issue was because the motor must be washed. On August 12, we introduced the vehicle in in order for them to clear the motor and reveal the issue. They informed us the issue was there have been numerous leaks and gaskets must be changed. We informed them to-go forward and repair all of the issues. They assured us that the job that must be done was completed. Significantly less than per month later, we were operating about the freeway once the motor seized up. Expert Engines, an area car store, towed the vehicle to its service for $75. They informed us there's very little gas within the vehicle and that's why the motor seized up. We returned to Midas, Lynn Armstrong, General Director of the Pikesville area. Midas delivered a technician to Expert Engines and examined the vehicle and declare that the motor seizing up was because of an interior motor failure. After I questioned what that intended or might she be much more particular in regards to what the issue was, she was not able to achieve this. The motor within the vehicle is lifeless and must be changed (est $3000). There must be plenty of gas within the vehicle significantly less than thirty days after an oil-change and allegedly solving of the gas loss issues, however the technician at Expert Engines stated it hardly listed something about the dipstick. Midas will not take responsibility.
