We have sold other items on consignment with Terri's in the past, and had to pay attention and call - but got our money within their stated contract time. So we thought of Terri's when we had other items we wanted to sell.
We dropped off a Sofa & Love Seat set in late June, it sold in early July. Terri's won't confirm the amount it sold for, and said we had to email. We emailed them 4 times and finally got this response:
"Thank you again for your patience in waiting for a response. Believe me, I know this is frustrating, but I am doing my best to handle inquiries, as well as handle outgoing payments. We are sending out payments. We are only able to send out what we can each check run, but I am putting your name on the list for the soonest check run I can get you on if you're due a payment. As SOON as I can get a mailout date, I will let you know. Unfortunately, I have to wait for my list to be approved each week based on what I can send out. I can't thank you enough for your patience, I know you have been waiting for a response. Just please understand I'm not ignoring you, but getting payment out to those who they are due to is very important to me. The detail inquiries, regrettably, do take a bit of time to copy and paste into text form, as the system we use really wasn't meant for this type of processing. Again, my sincere apologies, I am not ignoring your inquiry, I have to research each account, and answer accordingly. Being the only one here, it's put me a ways back while trying to handle payments.

So what this gal is saying is that even though we are owed our money - which they still WILL NOT confirm how much - she has to submit it and THEN get approval to fulfill their own contract. Had we known that Terri's was in such a bad condition financially we would have sold on Craig's List or thru the paper. We have seen the owner on TV crying and sobbing asking people to be kind! This isn't about being kind - this about fulfilling your business obligations. We are not sure what to so since we fear that Terri's will go under and we'll never see our money.
