Briefly, I was a manager with Verizon for 20 years. Because I wanted to report workplace violence, and other unethical practices, to security - my boss, Susan, threatened me with firing if I did.
I was eventually put on a paid leave while they supposedly investigated bogus porn on my computer (If it was there it was because I was set up... But I never accessed porn on a company computer).
I filed EEOC charges against my boss. She retaliated against me by putting me in with the many other employees who were part of a force reduction. That is why they made me stay out for ten months - they knew the force reduction was coming and wanted me out of the picture until then!
