800-400-TALK, Aka NSS Magazine, (sex Line). Consumer rip-off fraud and ripoff thieves God Only Knows Internet...
Ordered Robert G Allen's ebooks through iwon.com. Used my Visa check card, which I have NEVER used before or after. Suddenly, NSS Magazine charged me $70. I did not order anything from NSS Magazine. Found the charge on by bank statement with phone number of 800-487-3647. I called the number and was referred to 800-400-TALK, which is a sex line.
I have alerted iwon.com and Robert G. Allen, (author of Multiple Streams of Income) that the iwon site is not secure and that I would have to pay Allen by check.
I cancelled the check card and my bank returned the charge to NSS. However, now I must close out my checking account and order new checks and check cards because NSS Magazine might try to put the charge through again as a DEBIT card transaction instead of a credit card transaction.
Really, a shame. I've had the same account number for 7 years and never had a problem until I ordered something through what I thought was a secure internet site. Now, I do not know exactly HOW MANY intities may have my check card/debt card #.
NEVER AGAIN. GOODBYE ecommerce. Not worth the risk or hassle. I really think iwon.com owes me damages. So far, they say their site is secure and obviously, it isn't. I sent iwon.com the report from this website on 800-400-TALK. Maybe they will finally agree and send me $20 to cover the new checks.
Finally, all buyers beware!!! You just do not know who is watching on the internet.
