Not Crediting Retured Dvds Still Charging no proper way to check for return

I have been using redbox for several months and now i am rather upset.

I have been always retuned the dvd on my way to work the next day since the redbox was right next to my house. I had 2 days worth of charges. Which was appropriate. 37 days later i was billed for 25.99 for a non returned dvd. I immediatly called redbox at 1-866-733-2693. Waited on hold for 18 min and 27 seconds and spoke with Latoya who would not further identify herself for tracking purposes. She informed me that even though my past activities that had shown prompt and quck returned dvds (18 of them) said that it was not returned. She offered to give me a small credit to my account but would not return the full ammount. I asked why i recieved 2 day charges then nothing for those remaining days. She replied it was the companies policy. I then inquired about the fact that my email address was on file with them why had i not recieved a notice so that i could rectify this situation sooner. Latoya replied we only send promotional emails. I believe this is a fundemental flaw in the way redbox does business. This must be how they stay in business by randomly overcharging customers. And not even giving a conformation number with a return. This is extremely shady and i will be seeking further legal action. If this is happening to me, Im sure it has happened to countless customers as well
