I called locksmiths from yahoo yellow pages to get an estimate to unlock a bedroom that was locked and there is no key. I came across this company and quoted me $40 for the service call which is the cheapest among the other companies I called.
I made the appointment and the guy was late for an hour. This is a home that I listed for sale so I waited because the guy keep on saying he is on his way. When he got to the house he said that opening the lock is complicated and he will charge me for $40 service call plus $84 for the labor. I can't do anything else just to let him do it because I need to show the house to prospective client. I thought he would completely take the lock off or do some other complicated work but to my amazement, he just inserted a baloon type, pumped it for few second and then it's done. It only took him less than 1 minute to do the work and he charged me $124. I was so mad and I told the guy it was a ripoff and demanded a refund on the some part of my payment. He said that he can't do anything because it was their company's policy. Since my client is already there I don't want to argue with him so I let him go.
If you are looking for a reliable and honest locksmith, don't ever use this company. They will rip you off. Their company name is Dependable Locks but they are not dependable. They are a rip-off company so beware.
