I had ordered some merchandise from Walter Drake and was offered a "risk free" period of magazine subscriptions. When I received a postcard from NSS, I called the 800 number to decline the offer.
I was only able to leave a message. Not trusting voice mail messages, I also returned the card, writing on it that I was canceling the offer. I dated the card 3-17-03, the same day I called. The instructions said I had to respond by April 27. The card also stated that "we will always send you a courtesy reminder before you are ever billed to ensure your satisfaction"
I never received any courtesy reiminder. Yesterday as I was doing my bank statement I found NSS stole $20.00 from my account. I have been trying to call their 800 number ever since. All I keep getting is a busy tone. I am absolutley livid!!! I want my money back and I want NSS reprted for their ripoff scheme.
