Well back in 3/04 I signed up for the first inet credit card with all these false promises. For only 150 dollars. So I did agree to let them take the 150.00 out
By 5/04 way past the thirty days for me to receive the information and the card. I still had not received it.
I called them about it and told them that i hadnt received it and they told me that they couldnt find my name to give them my bank account. I told them no that they already took 150.00 from me that I shouldnt have to give them my account info again. These people were no help. So I just chalked it up as a hard lesson learned.
9 months later I received my bank account and on it was a 33.00 charge and an 800 number. I called the 800 number and found out it was a non usage fee for not using this card. I said how can I use it if I have never received it. I told them they were not authorized to get money out of my account. They then proceeded to tell me that they could give me back my 33.00 nor my 150.00 and they would send me the card with in 7 to 10 days. So it finally came in.
I went online to the site (which is now not found) firstinetonline.com, and I ordered 2 items. I also understood that I was going to have to pay 30% down for these items. On the website it told me that the only way I could pay for the items was with the first inet card. So as my order was pending I would check on it occasionally and I never received a statement on the items either.
Then I got my bank statement in February to find that they have taken out another 33.00 non usage fee charge. I called them back. They never responded because i had to leave a message.
I finally got ahold of someone in March or April of 05 and she was really snotty to me. Made fun of the fact that I wanted 33.00 back. I told her that I wanted it all but I knew that I couldnt have it all back. That they stole over 200.00 from me. I have also contacted the BBB in this matter as well.
She told me that she will cancel my account (i didnt request it to be cancelled.) She also said that I would be receiving the 33.00 credit. I never received that credit. She never give me a chance to respond she told me the account was cancelled and not to get back on it and then told me to have a nice day and hung up.
Of course I couldn't call them back because it was after there closing time. Also she didnt give me her name either. She was very rude. I received my response from the BBB and it said they told me that they would give me the first 33.00 charge back. But not my 150.00. I never received that one either.
I don't understand how they feel they can take out 150.00 even though it was agreed but not send any information for 9 months then still expect people to be happy with not getting the 150.00 and then taking out two 33.00 non usage fees out of someones account unauthorized and not wanting to even pay it back.
Also canceling the account on their own judgement without giving me back my money. Not caring. This company is out for anyone and everyones money. Dont fall into their scam. If there is a lawyer out there that can help me please contact me or just let me know what I can do I know its only 216.00 but hey thats almost a car payment. I just want my money. Thats all.
