Allen's Moves Are Us, also using the names of CLA Enterprises, LLC; Moves Are Us; Moves R Us; Allen's Moves R Us; Moves Are Us Movers, is an illegal moving business owned and operated by Charles L. Allen. The reason why this business, with all of its unauthorized names, is illegal is that the State of Kentucky requires movers of household goods to have a Certificate. This Certificate authorizes the business to be able to legally operate, and it has to be renewed each year. But Charles L. Allen did not renew his Certificate for the year of 2009.
Therefore as of January 1 Charles L. Allen has not been legally authorized to move. Since Charles L. Allen is still operating and moving household goods he is doing so illegally. Your household goods are important to you. You want them to be taken care of with care and responsibility. But Charles L. Allen has neither care nor responsibility, for he is operating illegally which further means he has no insurance. Do you want a business moving your household goods without having insurance?
He is falsely advertising, which is also against Kentucky law. Kentucky prohibits a moving business to be advertising without a legal Certificate. Kentucky also requires that when advertising is done that it be in the name[s] in which the legally required Certificate is issued. First off, Charles L. Allen has no legal valid Certificate to do moving. This is already illegal. Then in Charles L. Allen's advertisements he uses many different business names -Charles L. Allen has so very many business names, all for his one illegal moving business-none of which names were ever on his Certificate back in 2008.
Further, in his illegal ads Charles L. Allen falsely represents that he has a Certificate. This is not so since January 1.By calling Kentucky's Secretary of State at (502) 564-3490 it can be verified that none of the many created business names, of Charles L. Allen's one illegal moving company, was ever registered in Kentucky except for CLA Enterprises LLC, assumed name Moves Are Us. However CLA Enterprises LLC, assumed name Moves Are Us, was administratively dissolved back in 2002 by Kentucky's Secretary of State and has not been in good standing since 2002.
And by calling Kentucky's Transportation Cabinet (502) 564-7650 and asking for the Office of Legal Services it can be verified that CLA Enterprises LLC has no legal right to be moving since January 1, and that all of the many other created business names by Charles L. Allen were never authorized by Kentucky's Transportation Cabinet. Regular people work hard for our money, and when we hire a movers we want a business that is insured, honest, responsible, caring, and legal. We do not want Charles L. Allen's business, with all its many different business names: for Charles L. Allen is not insured, is not honest, is not responsible, is not caring, and is not legal.
