Rude, Give false information

I received a call from these people, I was told the rep's name was "Daisey". She had called my cell phone and when I asked to have the home number called they said they had called and left messages. No such messages from Pinnacle received. She stated they sent me letters and when asked when she said they sent one on June 25. Today is June 27. Asked to speak with supervisor and was connected to "Jose'".? He sated that they received the account on June 26. Each time I challenged their statements they got nastier and tried to turn the conversation to the bill. I NEVER disputed I owed the money or that their "Client" had tried to contact me. Jose' said he had heard what "Daisey" had said, but when asked what her reply to several quetions was he didn't know.

They seem to like to intimidate people so they pay. I have no problem trying to pay the bill, but do have a problem with debt collectors making false statements, to down right lies. The tone of "Jose'" got even nastier when I asked him is it not true that debt collection agencies cannot lie in any attempts to collect a debt. To state they got an account the day after they "sent" a letter, and that they left messages at the home number and I didn't respond, I would think fall under the lie catagory.
