We closed our account with Dish about 4 years ago because we were moving out of state. This account was closed. We received a bill from dish for June because our service had been reactivated!
How could this happen? The service was reactivated in my name and at my old address? I called today and went through a few hoops to speak with a human. After being passed along to a supervisor (Brooke), she had the nerve to ask me if I would like have Dish service to be continued at my current location??? Absolutely not! Why would I reactivate service for a house and state that I no longer lived?
I gave her my current email address. She then stated she was going to review the notes on the account-hmmmm... Looks like there are no notes on this reactivation. I think my manager needs to look at this... Do you mind holding? I did not mind holding.
A few minutes later, I was listening to the dial tone - disconnected! That is when I jumped to this site and searched for any complaints against this company. I will update as this situation progresses.
