Last September my 74 year old Mother purchased an Air cleaner from Oreck, and decided to return it.in December I became involved since she hadn't received she refund. I have personally called their customer service, which should be called CUSTOMER NO SERVICE 15 times since October 22nd.in December I called after the check C/S said would be to her in 4 to 6 weeks was not there from when I called in November. So once again we waited and another 4 to 6 weeks later no refund. I am so angry that they are being allowed to receive interest off the funds that my mother could have.
I have contacted national and local news to try and assist me with this issue and haven't heard back from them as of today. I believe the public needs to be aware of how they do business. Earlier today when I was talking to a customer service representative and was once again explaining what had happened. She told me that they will issue yet another check and I asked how long would it be, and yes she told me 4 to 6 weeks. I said haven't you all ever heard of next day air. I am at my wits end. Can someone, anyone tell me how to get my mother her money, and the interest have they have made off of it since it's sitting in their bank.
