I purchased an Oreck XL vacuum cleaner in February and received a free iron and canister vacuum. The iron didn't work and was replaced by Oreck. Now the canister doesn't work and they are asking me to drive 30 miles to have it repaired. I've had to replace the belt on the vacuum cleaner 3 times since I purchased this and they are asking me to purchase a 'lift kit' in order for it to work properly on carpet! What does a person normally vacuum? Carpet, right? I've never been so dissatisfied with a purchase let alone the customer service I'm receiving regarding a product I purchased online from the manufacturer.
