After having read eBay guides and eBay recommendations about using authentication services, I decided to try one before attempting to sell a Louis Vuitton handbag on eBay. For LV, web and eBay searches lead me to MyPoupette.com. Their site is professional and they seem very knowlegeable about desinger items.
All the positive press and eBay presence lulled me into forgetting to perorm the simplest of check: type their name into google to see if anything bad pops up.
So I sent them $15 and received a reply within 24 hours instructing me to send photos to [email protected].
AFter a month, several emails and time I still have not heard a word from them. So I typed "MyPoupette" into google like I should have before sending money. This ripoff has happened to hundreds of people maybe more.
Since the amount is low and the trust by eBay is high many people do not report having been ripped off.
Shut them down!
