I purchased what was advertised as an Authentic Louis Vuitton Manhattan GM Handbag on Ebay for $1,060.00. Mari Young (the Seller) promised that the bag was authentic, that she had the sales receipt, and if there were any authentication problems, she would refund my money. I told her before I purchased the handbag that I was going to have it authenticated and she said that she had no issue with that, and that she was "100% sure the handbag was authentic".
After I received the handbag, I became concerned that it may be a fake and the receipt looked like it had been "Cut & Pasted" to LOOK like an authentic receipt. I told Mari Young that I was going to send photos of the bag to "My Poupette" (an authorized appraiser of Louis Vuitton merchandise) and she said that was no problem and that she had used "My Poupette" in the past and she knew that they would authenticate the handbag.
My Poupette came back with their report stating that the handbag was a FAKE. I have emailed, send certified letter and phoned Mari Young constantly since receiving the report and she will not answer me. The only way that I know that she is still around is that she recently had somemore fake Louis Vuitton handbags on Ebay that she was trying to sell as authentic and she replied to the negative feedback that I left for her.
I have made contact with some other Buyers who have bought "Authentic" handbags from Mari Young, and now they are in the process of having their handbags authenticated - each of them fearing that their bags are fakes too.
In good faith, I paid Mari Young $1,060.00 for this pile of junk. It is against the law to sell fake Louis Vuitton handbags, and since Mari Young has decided not to work with me and refund my money, I plan on doing anything & everything that I can to make sure that this lying, unlawful Seller doesn't take advantage of honest, trustworthy buyers like myself.
