My contract ended with T Mobile in October. I paid month to month until a couple of months ago when I called T mobile and told them I didn't want the service anymore. Also, I was a Flex Pay, which means that I always paid for my services at the beginning of the billing cycle, or I had no phone service. I had 700 minutes on my plan and had 2 phones which shared the minutes. After I stopped paying month to month I was billed a contract termination fee of 200 dollars, which I have the bill to prove it, and I was also billed small fees for service time which I shouldn't have been billed for because I was a flex pay.
I called T mobile and they first told me that I had automatically signed up for a new contract that extended until 2009 because I had paid for month to month service after my contract was up on 2008. I told the representative she was full of crap and demanded to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor said that yes, I was correct in that I was not under any contract as of October and had the option of letting my service go whenever I wanted.
So I get this bill for 200 dollars in the mail today being May 4 and I call T Mobile again. This time, the representative tells me they have no record that I ever called to stop my service and I broke my contract which was extended to 2009. If my contract is up and I am a prepay then I would just love for T Mobile to explain to me how i racked up owing them any charges at all. I am turning everything I have into whatever agencies I can find to stop this rip off company before they ruin my credit!
