Charged my card without authorization after canceling

I canceled my direct tv service due to an inaccuracy I saw in my bill. I was tired of their prices and this drove me over the edge. I contacted them to have my service canceled and apparently they kept it open so my bill can climber higher. Suddenly, they charged my bank account twice within 2 days. They claimed I canceled early, but I've finished my one year agreement. I gave no authorization to withdraw from my account, and told them I would not pay until the issues I had were resolved. Not once did they get in contact with me or send me an email informing me they wanted to discuss anything. They just took my money no hesitation. I've always had to manually give the authority to withdraw money as payment, but now they just did it on their own. I guess with some companies there's no refusing to pay for terrible service.
