My name is Dawn Imes and I am writing in reference to a complaint I would like to file against National Audit Defense Network. I was notified at my work in Pennsylvania by this company. (it is illegal in the state of pa for telemarketers to call especially on your job. I WORK IN A GOVERNMENT OFFICE) I was notified in later January by a lady and she informed me the program was to try to help people save money on their taxes. She stated they would check over the last 3 years to see if I missed anything. They sent me a reference number and these guys kept calling me. I told them the first time they called I was not interested because they were not there to help! They were there to rip people off. They stated I should give them $3000.00 and they would show me ways of taking of $7000.00 on my taxes. They stated wouldn't you sooner give this money to us then your government. When one of these men called me on the 31st of January I told them I needed to speak to someone about cancelling this service because I was not interested in being ripped off. I also informed them to quit calling me. They sent me to a girl by the name of Jennifer Kohler she told me she would cancel my service but as far as the refund I needed to fax her over a letter to that effect. I sat down and wrote up a letter with my ID Number and told her I wanted to cancel and wanted my money back. I faxed this to 1-702-877-5770 on February 6. I notified them and they told me it would not show on my account for at least 24 to 48 hrs. I watched my account and nothing was been credited. I called on April 3 and spoke to a guy by the name of Cedric. He stated he checked the records and they had cancelled my file but never received anything requesting the money back. I told him I had I confirmation from my fax with the letter and the Feb 6 date on it. So I faxed it to another number that this Cedric gave me. 1-702-579-9825 So I waited till April 17 and called to check on this and quess what I got Jennifer Kohler. She stated there was nothing on the screen that they received it. She stated they did get my fax of April 3 but it was now after the 30 days to get my money back. I told her NO and what I faxed over was the orginal letter and the transmittal ok of February 6. I was at home when I made this call so I could not get to a fax. Jennifer stated she would call me on Monday the 21st of April. No calls were received. I must of called 9 or 10 times on Wednesday trying to get someone to check this and they just kept transferring me to answering machines where people do not call back. I did get Jennifer's machine at one point and ask her to call. I left my job at 4:00 and got home about 4:30 and my husband told me that Jennifer had called. I was to call her at 1-877-3477 ext 2338 so I called and got some other lady. She stated Jennifer was on the phone so she wanted to know what the problem was I tried to explain to her that if they keep these so called faxes all they would need to do is go look at what I was talking about unless they are totally stupid. Well I did not get a call from Jennifer even though the lady told me she would give her the call. I called again a got some guy that was a jerk he stated he was Jennifer's boss and I needed to talk to him. Then he kept stating you need to fax it in again. I told him in not so poilite terms that he was a jerk and they run a piss pore business he stated, "I'm sorry you feel that way." I told him I would either start getting some answers or I would go to the Attorney Generals Office and file a complaint and all he could say was I'm sorry you feel that way. So I hung up on him. I got in to my job this morning and found out Jennifer called yesterday right after I left work and said to fax the information over and call her today. I called she was not in yet I spoke to the same lady that I spoke to last night. I tried to explain to her again about checking the fax. I ask her to have Jennifer call me. I stressed to her that it was important that they get back to me with what I want to here because I notified the Attorney General's Office last night and found out there is a pending suit against them and I had my letter ready to go.
