Com In desperate need of basic customer service training

Here's a sample of a response I recieved from him (Jim the owner). His site advertises $49.95 for a resume (no disclaimer to being a 1 page resume) and I ask for his opinion of my basic resume. Jim responded and quoted $109.95/129.95, and the following was the actual email exchange:

Hey, genius.
The "advertised" $49.95 is for a ONE-page resume.
Duh.
Get lost.
I don't like your arrogant attitude.
Don't contact me again...
I don't want your business.

Jim,
Ouch! $109.95/$129.95 is a bit more that the advertised $49.95. I think I'll need to shop around a bit more.

Thanks,
Mike J

Who appears to be arogant and pompous here?

According to my notes, “Mike J” placed an order for a 1 page resume (normally $49.95). Immediately thereafter, “Mike J” emailed me his HUGE old resume (over 3 pages long!) Well, obviously I do not charge the same for a 1 page resume and a 3 page resume, nor does my website or shopping cart say that. My shopping cart clearly lists different prices for resumes of various lengths (from 1 page all the way to 9 pages in length). Hmmm. I can only guess that either “Mike J.” did not take the time to read my prices? . . . or (perhaps) decided he would get tricky and somehow pressure me into charging him for a 1 page resume, even though he knew his was at least 3 pages long? Amazingly, after I politely emailed him of this misunderstanding (either he can pay the correct price, or I would be happy to cancel his order and he would not be charged at all), my records indicate that he went “explosive” -- writing at least a 2 paragraph foul-mouthed, angry reply! Totally irrational, surprising, “over-the-edge” behavior. Wow. My notes conclude that I cancelled his order immediately. Some people just have too many “problems” and can’t be helped. Thankfully, I always have a waiting list of polite, courteous “normal” customers and referrals who want me to help them with their resumes. God bless and help this person.
