I was a booth renter in this salon for 2 months. Originally we agreed to split the rent and electricity bill 50/50. The rent on the unit was $500 per month and the utility bill was around $100 per month. After I moved and got settled Takisha Motley tried to claim the electricity bill would be around $250 per month. This is a lie because I contacted the power company and know how much the bill was. She would NOT show me a copy of the electricity bill but demanded I pay her $125 per month for electicity usage. My share should have been around $50. This unit was approximately 900 square feet. I can heat and cool my 3600 square foot home for less!
Also the owner talks about EVERYONE behind their backs including the managing stylist. She has several men involved in her life that she uses for money and physical labor. None of them know about one another. She is a user and a cheater.
Not to mention that she is a racist. Many times when I was there I overheard comments about race.
This owner is a liar. Several times she has been caught in lies. It is unethical when you are in a business.
Do not go to this salon. Many of the stylists that she has had in there including herself are NOT licensed cosmotologists. She cuts corners, rips people off and has no morals. She will use people until she gets what she wants and then discard them like garbage. This was not a positive atmosphere to work in.
