In December, I purchased what the clerk claimed to be Men's Polo Safari cologne. Upon getting home, it was women's. I went right back to the store, where the manager said they did not even sell Men's Safari. I asked for my money back. She advised me a refund was against their policy. I argued that it was their clerk's mistake, but that made no difference. I wrote to the corporate offices in Secaucus, New Jersey, and received a note that they would send me a check.
That was four months ago. I have called (they told me they sent it to the wrong address —the address they gave me, incidentally is a United States Post Office). Now no one will return my calls. Sym's is an absolute rip off. The clerks are apparently not knowledgable about what they sell. The Addison, IL store manager was worthless and rude, and now corporate has displayed more of the same. I will never set foot in a Sym's store again.
