I contacted National Recovery Network in January to recovery my vehicle. Immediately after assigning the case to NRN, I received an email stating that they have a No Recovery, No Fee policy. The email also stated "if our efforts are not sufficient wewill not be paid". After several weeks passed with no updates posted on the website, I called NRN to ask for an update. I was told that an update would be posted by one of the investigators.
However, no update was posted. I placed 2 subsequent calls requesting updates and was told the same. However, not 1 single update was ever posted on the website. I called NRN and asked them to close the case. I decided to hire someone else to handle the case, since NRN did nothing. I immediately received an invoice for $1,170.50; then 2 follow-up calls from NRN asking if I received the invoice. Funny how NRN can communicate promptly and aggressively when they want money, but no communication while they are supposedly handling your case. I called NRN to inform them that I received the invoice. I was asked when I would be sending payment. I informed the rep (Debbie) that I would not be paying anything since NRN did nothing and they have a No Recovery, No Fee policy, as stated in their email. I retained a copy of the email for legal purposes.
