Just got this bogus bill in today & I am seriously annoyed.
I've stopped doing business with YLD in 2010. Written a letter for cancellation, authorized from my boss and paid off the actual remainder for the contract year just to avoid any loose end strings. Saving invoice from an actual agent. I even took steps to avoid those so-called 'account update' phone calls by simply saying no and hanging up. And yet: this debt invoice states that it's from March. No documents sent or recorded from them for almost 2 years.
The worst part: CC Recovery said it's my fault for the debt of my job-site. I don't own the business, I just work there and thus: no power of authorization for renewal and updates on my own.
I hope that this complaint that I'm filing will persuade those who have been swindled by this boondoggle will do the same.
