On! 2/30/02008 I notified AT&T customer service that my Father had passed away and to discontinue phone service for his residence. The customer service representative without any considertation, immediately said who will be paying the bill. I said I will when I am in the process of making all his final arraingements. Since this time AT&T not only billed me for his December bill but billed me also for January, even though the phone service was shut off, at mid January? Also, they now as of 2/11/09 have sent me an aggressive notice that they are considering "collections" for past due?
What can you expect from AT&T with their the history of doing business in the U.S. Yes, I sent them their total of $28.25 outanding so I would not have to receive any more inconsiderate rude communication?
