I have a complaint to post about "Green Dot/Walmart" This I will post in detail later. The internet is litterally filled with complaint after complaint against Green dot and Walmart Green Dot cards as well. Valid complaints and issues that never seem to get resolved. It is reasonable to believe that people complain when things dont go their way or when they are trying to "get something for nothing". After reading the complaints (after complaint... After complaint) I realize that, this many different people are not going to complain about the same issues and problems in such detail unless there is truly a problem. (Takes way too much time). So... For all those wanting to speak with a live person to get issues resolved... Read this... Hope it helps!

227.15 Unfair late charges.
(a) In connection with collecting a debt arising out of an extension of credit to a consumer, it is an unfair act or practice for a bank to levy or collect any delinquency charge on a payment, when the only delinquency is attributable to late fees or delinquency charges assessed on earlier installments, and the payment is otherwise a full payment for the applicable period and is paid on its due date or within an applicable grace period.
(b) For the purposes of this section, collecting a debt means any activity, other than the use of judicial process, that is intended to bring about or does bring about repayment of all or part of money due (or alleged to be due) from a consumer.
