Heading back home to Fl, we took Greyhound to St Louis Missouri because the flight was considerably cheaper from that airport. Taxi drivers were inside waiting by arriving buses for assistance, we thought that was great, got a ride right away. Told the driver what hotel we were staying at that night, he said okay than we took off.
He kept trying to talk us into staying at the Motel 6, we told him our hotel has shuttle service to the airport in the morning. All of the sudden he had never heard of the Super 8 Convention Center, and he suddenly could not speak english, (from india). He drove us to the Motel 6, it was a bad neighborhood. We called our hotel for directions and finally made it there.
We complained to the desk clerk, he told us Rainbow taxi drops off and picks up people from our hotel all of the time, he also told us that Motel 6 he took us to is notorious for drugs and crime and is probably owned by one of his relatives, thats why he kept insisting (Owners are also from India).
Anyway the desk clerk said he has taken a taxi downtown where we were from the hotel and it cost him $12.00, it cost us $38.00 because he took us way out of the way to the motel 6
