A few years ago, my husband and I were searching for a way to help us with credit card and medical debt accrued while in college. We sought the help of Visual Credit and instantly fell in love with the idea of "fewer bills, one monthly payment, lower interest rates, pay off in 3 years!" It was more than we ever hoped for. Even after they didnt pay our bills for three months or when they asked our creditors for fees, we still stuck with the company.
Even when they told us to manage our account, regardless of the fact that we were paying 65 dollars a month for them to do it, we stuck with Visual Credit because we wanted to pay off our debt. The truth came out when we wanted to buy a house last year and our mortgage broker told us that Visual Credit had registered us as a BANKRUPTCY on our credit report!
We found out that our credit had been damaged almost beyond repair by the company and that we had not paid off any of our debt! I removed myself from the program only to have several credit card companies tell me that I had to pay several hundreds of dollars just to get below my credit limit. It nearly ruined us! This company should be sued.
