Obviously too good to be true

I ordered a pair of polarized Ray Bans on December 10th for my husband's Christmas gift. I had been searching online for a deal and low and found one on the starsunglasses.com website. My mistake was not researching the company more thoroughly...

I promptly received an email from this "company" confirming my order and explaining that my credit card would be charged once the order was shipped. They added that my CC company may place a hold on the card for the amount of the order, and this did occur. Their email also explained that the order would be shipped within a day or two, included a few helpful links to track my order status, and promised to email me if there was going to be a delay.

Now, Christmas has come and gone, no glasses were shipped, the status is the same as it was the day it was placed, my emails have gone unanswered, and there is no mailing address or phone number available for this "company". I've contacted my CC company and was relieved to know that I haven't been charged for the order BUT was concerned because a hold was placed. My CC has canceled that activity, but I'm still concerned because now this "company" has my CC information. Nice.

Don't fall for their discounted prices and flashy website. They're a fraud, and now I have to keep an even closer eye on my credit card statements.
