On December 5th, I order a Nintendo DSi for my son for Christmas. This video website had the item for $20.00 cheaper than Amazon.com or Wal-Mart.com and was advertised on both of the above mentioned websites at the bottom, which stated for cheaper Nintendo DSi's. So, I ordered the gaming system from The MainOne group website, using Google Checkout, my credit card was charged the following day. I was patient and didn't start to become concerned until about the 15th of December when my order had not yet been shipped.
On the 15th of December, I e-mailed the company, since the company was not taking phone calls because of Christmas, this is what the site said. They responded by saying the following week, the orders would be shipped and you would be contacted that the order had been shipped.
On Dec. 19th, the order had not been shipped and I emailed them again about the status of the order. This time I did not get a response. I emailed them again on Dec. 21st and asked about the status of the order, once again I got no response. I contacted them again on the 22nd and gave them 6 hours to respond. During the wait, I googled the company reviews and happened upon this site.
I saw where I was not the only victim of this company. There were reviews on the Rip-Offs site about this company and the responses other customers got from this company were identical to mine.
At this time, I went to Wal-Mart and purchased the gaming system, came home and requested that the order be canceled and my credit card reimbursed.
Now, it is a wait and see if they reimburse my credit card before further action can be taken. I have contacted Google checkout and The MainOne Group on two different occassions tonight.
This has completely tainted my online shopping experience and I don't know if I will ever shop online again.
