Lisa Mahoney, a former friend and trusted business associate, can no longer be reached by telephone. Mysteriously, within a few months after you trust her with your money to invest, she disappears along with your money. For some people it was merely their life savings and retirement funds. For us, it was a fraudulent loan against our home (Thanks WAMU!!!). We were assured it was legal at the time, after all, she wouldn't risk everything she owned and her own "good" repuation to steal our money would she?
I wonder what Chamanade private school would think if they knew that money she donated to them was stolen from innocent people who's lives are now ruined due to Lisa Mahoney's greed? If only Lisa Mahoney was as generous and dedicated to all of us who trusted her with our personal money, as she is to her son Mathew's private school... What a shame. I feel sorry for her son for having a mother like her.
We are slowly picking up the pieces of our lives, after filing bankruptcy and almost losing our marriage, but it has been a long slow process and we will never be the same. We especially will never be so trusting and have DEFINITELY learned that if it sounds too good to be true... IT IS.
The iron bars are coming for you Lisa Mahoney... We will not go quietly.
