Less than 3 years ago we bought a $2000 bed from the dealers Bruce the Bed King in Hackensack, NJ. Sure the price was great, and the delivery finally came in. They have all this junk about how good their service is. B*Sh*t!!!
After less than a week after the king sized bed was delivered, it was defective. One of the sides started to puff up, as if the springs were damaged.
After serveral weeks of disputing the issue with the dealer, my credit card company, and even the Better Business Bureau... They finally sent some knucklehead (idiot) out to check on my bed. He was some idiot, who pushed down on the bed a few times and said there was nothing wrong with the bed.
Well, the bed a inflated enough that the lower back section was arched and I got up with back pains every morning.
We still have the same bed after almost 3 years of this trouble, and now that small area that was puffed up from the springs has now spread to the rest of the body area. The one side of the bed is now puffed up. I sleep with one side tilted, as if I was sleeping on a down hill angle.
I personal dropped off the warranty service form that I picked up from the other store they opened up in Paramus, NJ.
Why you ask? Since I called the Hackensack store, they took my name and told me they would send out the warranty form. After a week had gone by they did not send anything out for me to fill. Its been a month and they still have not sent a form.
After that week, I personally went to the Paramus, NJ Bruce the Bed King store and picked up a form and dropped it off to the Hackensack store. I handed over to Robert who is the service manager, but he told me that the service manager is not in and will leave it on his desk.
Lie #1. He is the service manager. Don't be fooled if you ever have problems. They won't take care of it.
Lie #2. Don't ever be suckered into what sweet talk they offer. You won't hear from them.
Lie #3. They don't have the best service. Since they don't do customer service at all. Go to Macy's or larger dealers like Sleepy's... I know, because I've tested their customer service. Its the real deal, don't buy beds from these local dealers. They are scammers.
Lie #4. Service is great that's why the prices are low. They screw you on the bed prices and other furniture they sell. When you want to return it or something is defective. You might as well buy another one for $2000.
Don't believe me? Go ahead buy a $2000 bed and find out for yourselves. If your smart, go to Macy's or Sleepy's for bedding and furniture's!
Oh, by the way... Whenever you call they answer with a nasty attitude. They never give their names... And they will laugh at you if you have a problem with them
If you read this, they will be advertised nationally on local news stations. I have reported them to several news media stations and they are willing to stick their camera's at their stores. It seems several of the newscaster also had similar problems and they just needed an outside source like me to publish the story. Its going live on the air Bruce the Bed King!
Good Luck with what you call service. I still suffer from back pains and yet you still claim the bed is fine. Gee, I wonder why I feel like I slept on a downhill angle every night.
