My Year 2000 Malibu had a car accident in 2009 on the road. My insurance recommended me sent to Service King for repair. I called Service King and told them my car was dead and needed
towing service. Service King replied to tow to its shop. I told Service King to repair it to running and the guy on the phone said ok no problem.
Months later Service King called me the car was ready to pick up. I went to Service King's front desk to have paid the $1000 deductible for the issurance and a guy drove my car to the front of the office building and let me drive home.
While I drove to home in about 5 miles, the car started burning in smoke and I stopped and called Service King. Service King called towing service to send my car back to Service King.
Weeks later, a lady called me to pick up the car after I assured of the car was drivable on the phone with her. The lady said sure. But when I went to pick it up, Service King told me it was not drivable and they don't cover it because the issurance company [Allstate]would not cover it.
Then I talked to Allstate and Allstate said they would let Service King to sell the car and give me back the $1000 repair cost. Since then I had ever heard from either Serivce King or Allstate.By the May of this year when I received the renewal notice for my car registration, I had to call my car inssurance Allstate and I was told Service King had salvaged my car. Prior to this Serivice King or
Allstate had never send me any letter or called me regarding of the salvage.
Now I lost $1000 plus my car and found no person accountable.
