I purchased the G1 to replace my phone but before I did I asked 3 separate associates and the store manager, to make sure it the exact amount I would have to spend more a month; and all replied $34.99 a month for the unlimited data and text plan. I purchased the phone, and I was told it was added and would take 24 hours. When I realized the next day that it wasn't added I called and was told that I was lied to. If a manager lies to you from t-mobile as long as he always meets or exceeds their comp quota (# of plans/sales required per month), He can do so w/o recourse. I filed a complaint with the BBB (but since t-mobile is already unsatisfactory i doubt it will help), I also fied a complaint with the FCC for false advertising, the FTC for the same, and for unethical conduction of a business, and the attorney generals office. The AG's office told me they will contact T-mobile on my behalf but there is little they can guarantee me.
