I've just received now a 4th collection letter from Brewer for an aledged debt from 4 years ago. This is now the second collection agency they are working with. The first, apparently, gave up on me!
Just a reminder to everyone out there. These people are criminals. They are liers and cheats. Don't do business with them.
They are trying to collect on repairs they say they made to a rental property that they never received prior approval for, nor have any documentation (original invoices, etc) that repairs were even made. All they could provide me with was an accounting statement.
The information they gave the crediting agency, Surety Acceptance Corporation, isn't even accurate in terms of the dates of the aledged debt. The account statement Brewer forwarded to me didn't coincide with the dates the collection agency is saying they received.
Beware of Brewer Caldwell, especially Tom Caldwell.
