Won't stop billing

After signing up with the company, I tried the service out at $24.95 a month. THe service works correctly, but I no longer needed it. I contacted the company by phone to stop the service and billing. Company states, "You must write a letter explaining your reason to cancel and request a cancel."

After following the "procedure", I recieved next months bill again by email. I faxed them a letter, and still got another bill by email the next month with the previous month.

Been getting the bills by email every once in a while with a few months added every time.

I just spoke with the chat and here is her response:

"Cancellation Customers are required to download a cancellation form, fill out and fax it to 1-866-682-8875. Such notice will only be honored upon receipt. Customer should verify receipt of cancellation notice with TollFreeMax by contacting TollFreeMax support and receiving acknowledgement of cancellation notice. Monthly service charges will not be pro-rated on the month of cancellation.Pro-rated refunds also will not be honored. Cancellations for subscribers who have been with us for less than 12 months will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee."

They refuse to close your account by chat, email, or phone. I fail to see the security of a fax verses email, it's a billing trap policy. They do not allow for people that do not have a fax to cancel.
