I think that Alltel is fraud company, they rip people out of money on their cell bill. I have nothing but problems with them for over a year now. Their reps are very rude, and I even had one hang up on me, because I was yelling at her. The only reason I was yelling was because she wouldn't shut up for a second and listen to what I had to say.
They keep shutting my phones off because they can never seem to get my payment credited to the right account. They have 2 different account numbers for me, and each time I send a payment, I get notice tell me they received it, they send me 2 notices, each under the 2 different accounts. I have found that when I call no one ever makes a notation that I have called, the right hand doesn't know what the left had is doing.
They sure find a way to get money out of you every time, and that is by always charging you an activation fee every time you have to have it turned back on. I was told on one of my bills that they would take that off but of course they didn't, and then there are those little add on fees that stick you for, charging you for checking your voice mail. I have a business, and because they never give you a warning before they shut it off I have lost some customers because of it.
I even called their Customer Service Supervisor, which is a long distance phone call to please call and help me get this matter straightened out again, this was a week ago, and he never returned my call. Alltel doesn't care about their customer, they just care about getting more money out their customer... Well my contract is up in May and I am noting going to stay with them any more. My son is with Sprint and he says he has never had a problem and gets great service. That is who I will probably go with.
