This person GREG ZALAC returned our call to put a footer under our garage. June we signed a contract. Gave him 2 checks for 2500dollars each. After he got the moneywe seen him from june to october about 5 hours in all. He told us if we gave him 2800dollars more he would do the garage. We got no satisfaction. We took him to the magistrate he didnt show.
Never got my money back cant get in touch with him and his 30days to appeal will be done feb. 14. He has done this before because hes not worried or scared he just doesnt show up. The best part is we said to him 'if u cant do the job let us know we will get somebody else. He was insulted and thought we were unfair to say that.
We never received no material for the garage and he charged me 1,000dollars for hauling debris away and i have receipt for disposal company we paid325.00for a 9 day use of bin. This person said i harassed him by telephone all i did was ask him to come to work and get something done. One excuse was no permit well i got the permit we shored the building and he still never showed i know he is doing this to someone else.
My lawyer said he has done this before so why wont the district attorney press felony charges against him? I know there is a fine line between criminal and civil action we got taken big time and now i got a garage setting empty. I hope u read this because nobody else wants to hear about it. Or read about it i turned him into the b.B.B. No help there eithe
