Two years ago I pruchased a Sprint pcs phone. I had to pay $125.00 for a deposit. Two weeks later my bank informed me I was overdrawn. Sprint had summitted a document that went through my bank also for $125. Oo. After several calls (with no results) I was finally told to contact someone in Okla. City who could help. This was finally resolved (after 3 months). I then sent a check to them to cover the charges that I owed.
Guess What! You're right. They did it again. They sent their own document through again. I called and asked Where's My check? I had to put a stop payment on it. They found it and mailed it back to me. Now my two year contract is up and in Oct. I wrote them a check and on my check I said to please cancel my service. I also wrote this on the statement and an additional note. The next month I wrote a check and wrote FINAL payment on the bottom of my check.
They are still trying to bill me for two months after I canceled saying that I was supposed to call them to cancel. I was not informed that I had to call to cancel. I guess they can't read! My written cancelation on my check and statement should have been enough!!! So if you want to cancel BE SURE TO CALL. OH yeah— It took three phone calls to find the right place to tell them I CANCEL.
