I placed an order with the Gilded Paw totaling 166.64 on 10/21/08. I have never received any confirmation regarding this order and when I called the company, the voice mail box was full. I have e-mailed the company three times and finally was able to leave a voice message twice, and no respond, still, to any of the above attempts to reach them.
I called my credit card company and the Gilded Paw did already charge me for the unreceived merchandise.
On the Gilded Paw's website it states that they will NOT bill customers until the items are shipped. I was billed the same day I placed the order.
Also, the website states that they ship all merchandise within two business days, unless it is a special order item. None of my items were special order.
It also states on their web-site that " The Gilded Paw team is available for phone orders and customer assistance from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard time". If the voice mail box is not full, you have to leave a message.
Nobody has yet to call me back or respond to any e-mails and it has been over a week since I have left my first message. I have not even received an e-mail stating that my order was received by this company. I realize it has only been a little under two weeks since the order place, but the lack of customer service, billing my card for merchandise when it has not been sent, even after their web-site states that they would not bill until merchandise is sent. Makes me very skeptical and nervous.
I truly would not buy ANY items with this on-line company. I truly believe it is very fraudulent or extremely unprofessional. Either way: WARNING!!!
